At both the state and federal levels, we are seeing unprecedented amounts of money available in the form of grants and strategic allocations. In Michigan alone, there are several billion dollars of unallocated money, some of which will be available to local communities in the form of grant dollars.
So how do communities in Cass and Van Buren ready themselves for this extraordinary opportunity? Market Van Buren will be hosting its third annual Municipal Summit to answer this exact question. Join us to learn about the basics of grant writing, a variety of available and forthcoming grant and technical assistance programs, and the experience of your peers in leveraging some of these programs.
