Zach Morris

Executive Director

Zach Morris is the Executive Director of Market One, leading economic development across Cass and Van Buren counties in Southwest Michigan. Under his leadership, the organization has driven over $2.25B in economic impact, $2.09B in capital investment, and supported the creation of 1,284 jobs. His team has secured $34M+ in grants for community development and attracted over 60 investors to fuel regional growth. A champion for rural broadband, Zach helped land $5.1M in matching funds for a $53M project connecting 16,000+ homes. He is also supporting efforts around the historic $2B reopening of the Palisades Nuclear Plant.

 

Zach is a graduate of Decatur Jr. Sr. High School, holds a business degree from Davenport University, is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional, a graduate of OU’s Economic Development Institute, a MEDA Medalist of the Year, and was named a DCI 40 Under 40 honoree.
